WHAT A DAY

Today was a busy day around the house.  Laundry and cleaning-- sounds like FUN, right?!  HA!  Not at all! But somebody has to do!! :)  After many loads of laundry, tidying up, and dusting...the house is sparkling.  YAY!

Anyways..... I decided to make a new recipe for dinner tonight.  Chicken Enchilada's-- one of my favorite foods. :)  While shopping at Walmart one day I stumbled upon a new product.  Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Cream Sauce--Sante Fe Blend.  It had a recipe on the back for chicken enchilada's and it sounded amazing.  Let me just tell ya that they tasted AMAZING!!  One of the best enchilada recipes I have ever used.  Must try it friends!!  I am stuffed! :)

Not much else to say today....  I am waiting on my hubby to get home from work still.  Can't wait to spend the rest of evening with my main squeeze!  Hope everyone has a great evening!

Until next time~

"LOVE DAY"

Yesterday was Valentine's Day -- A Hallmark Holiday! ;)  Danny and I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day...we don't need a holiday to remind us of our love for one another.  Now when I say we don't really celebrate it I mean by gifts and whatnot.  I can't remember the last time we bought each-other a Valentine's gift- HA!

While Danny worked all day I spent the beautiful day with my parents. Mom and I had lunch at Saltgrass- YUM!!! We had a wonderful lunch and shared stories and laughs.  Don't worry -- we got a to go order for my dad to eat! Me and my parents spent the rest of the afternoon talking and having a great time.  I love my sweet parents soooo much!  I left my parents house and called my baby to let him know I was on my way home to cook us 'Valentine's' dinner and he said he was going to take me out to eat.  Yay! No cooking for me....even  though I truly enjoy it!  What a treat since my hubby HATES going out on Valentine's day because you never get service and it is soooo packed. Well good news!!! We had GREAT service and only had to wait 15 minutes!  We had dinner at Johnny Carino's and had a great dinner.  Enjoyed the rest of our evening hanging out at home with our 5 sweet doggies.

We hope you all had a great day as well!

Until next time~

~ "Us" In A Nutshell ~

Where to begin??  Why not the beginning! Danny and I met in 2003 at Horizon Car Wash in Rockwall, Texas!  Crazy, right?!?!  It was definitely love at first sight!  Danny saw me sitting in the waiting room as my car was being dried off.  He motioned for me to come on out when they waved the towel and said it was done.  He even walked me to my car!! We talked for a bit and he mentioned he wanted to take me out for dinner and drinks.  We finished our conversation and he said he would call me soon and began to walk away.  He forgot one important item.....MY NUMBER! I stopped him as he walked away and told him, "how are you going to call me without my number"?  He smiled and said, "oh yeah".  Fumbled for his phone and did not have it on him.  I luckily had paper and pen and wrote it down for him.  He called me 2 days later!  And that's where our story begins.

Danny proposed on Christmas Eve of 2005 and we were married in 2007.  We had an April wedding at the ever so pretty 'Four Seasons Resort in Las Colinas'.  It was a BEAUTIFUL wedding....couldn't have been anymore perfect!  We got married on the 21st of April on the golf course at The Four Seasons'.  Had our reception in the 'Pavillion' and danced the night away!  A night we will always remember!!!!  The night ended with ordering room service but falling asleep before it ever made it! HA!  They did call us a few times, woke us up, and re-delivered it!  :)  Weddings are exhausting.  We celebrated our one year anniversary at 'The Four Seasons' in a Villa Suite -- GORGEOUS!!!!  Can't believe this April will be our 4th Anniversary.  "Time flies when you're having fun"!

A little more about us.....Danny and I are HUGE dog lovers!  We have FIVE doggies....Chloe, Diesel, Duke, Roxie, and Bella.  Chloe is a Black Lab, Diesel is a Blue Heeler, Duke is a Great Dane, Roxie is a Catahoula, and Bella is a Miniature Dapple Dachshund....WOW.. that's a mouthful!  Anyways... yes, they all are inside dogs and yes, they all sleep with us.  You probably think we are crazy but we just love them and everything about them. They are our babies!!!!

We love each other, our lives, and everyone and everything in it! We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends.  I thank God every day for placing us in each others lives!  Thank You for showing me 'True Love Exists'!

To find someone who will love you for no reason, and to shower that person with reasons, that is the ultimate happiness.
